- New devices are no longer approved for calibration after the type approval has expired (the date of calibration is relevant).
- Devices in existing systems can continue to be operated and are protected. Existing appliances will of course continue to be repaired!

There is no standardised regulation in Germany in this regard and may be assessed differently depending on the federal state / calibration officer.
It is therefore essential to consult the responsible calibration authority beforehand!
